We presented facts and education about the fight against sarcoma cancers in the oncology clinic here at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at the Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear, Arizona this week and distributed bracelets to the staff. They are 100% on board in this effort to find treatments and even cures for this scourge that robbed our children of their futures. We look forward to further efforts in the future.

We invite sarcoma patients, caregivers, survivors and everyone who is interested to join us on July 21 from 4PM to 5:30 PM in Room 2280 of the Arizona Cancer Center’s North Campus on 3838 N. Campbell Avenue in Tucson. Dr. Dino Stea, Radiation Oncologist, will talk on Radiation Treatment in Sarcoma.

The Arizona Cancer Center will host a “Sarcoma Update” presented by Dr. Lee Cranmer, on July 16, 2008. Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to network and share resources in a support group setting. Refreshments will be provided.
