What: The “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” Race and Walk

The National Institute of Pediatrics (Instituto Nacional de Pediatria) along with the We Will Never Give Up Foundation (Aquí Nadie se Rinde, A.C.) have joined forces to organize the first “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” Race and Walk on Sunday, July 20th. These events will take place along the circuit of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM). Runners will experience an exciting end to the race by crossing the finish line inside the Olympic Stadium!
This event is being sponsored by the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), the University’s School of Medicine, and the PUMAS Soccer Club. All logistics for the smooth functioning of this race will be provided by AsDeporte.
All participants are asked to meet in the parking lot of the Olympic Stadium, where they will be transported by a “PUMA Bus” to the starting line for registration. The “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” racing event will begin at 7:00 am with runner registration. The 10K running part of the race will begin promptly at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K walk. At the end of both of these races will be the 100 meters running and walking races for sarcoma patients.
Sign-up and registration for this event can be done after June 4th on either the Aquí Nadie se Rinde website or the AsDeporte’s website.
