Life….Pass it On, an event devoted to awareness of sarcoma, was held on Wednesday, July 16, at the Joan Karnell Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital. The event was a part of International Sarcoma Awareness Week. Approximately 100 guests attended the event including patients, family members and friends. They were greeted by about 35 members of the sarcoma program team who support these patients in many ways.

The goal of the first Team Sarcoma Initiative Event to promote:

* Survivor Support
* Education
* Sarcoma Cancer Research for all people coping with sarcoma

Special Events included “Ask the Doctor,” Raffles, Pharmaceutical Facts, Reiki, Balloon creations, and Kid’s crafts.
