We are so grateful to everyone who helped make International Sarcoma Awareness Week an enormous success! The latest event reports will be featured on this page and can also be found by using the menu to the right. As teams continue to report to us, we will update our participation count. Team Sarcoma / In Carly’s Neighborhood

New Team Updates:

  • Team Sarcoma / Toronto gathered 178 people at their Sarcoma Awareness Day and 348 people “At the Ballpark for Sarcoma.” Information about sarcoma was read in front of a crowd of over 26,000 people at the ballpark.
  • More than 250 people attended “Sarcoma Day at the K” in Kansas City. The faces of sarcoma patients and the Team Sarcoma logo were displayed on the JumboTron.
  • The “PSSRF Team Sarcoma Team Sarcoma Walk, Run or Cycle” event in West Deptford, New Jersey, was a great success with 168 participants.
  • There were about 160 people at the Fourth Annual Sarcoma Awareness Walk and BBQ near Park City, Utah.
  • “Do your ‘S’ for Sarcoma” involved 108 people who skipped and sipped for sarcoma.
  • More than 100 people made donations for lemonade and bracelets at Emily’s Lemonade Stand in Jonesville and Norton, Virginia.
  • Team Sarcoma / Katy hosted a concert for 90 people in Katy, Texas.
  • More than 90 people enjoyed the Picnic for a Cure in Placerville, California, and more than $4,000 was raised for sarcoma research.
  • Fifty-seven people attended the Sarcoma Awareness Fun Run/ Walk & Social in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Fifty-two people gathered in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to support sarcoma awareness and 11-year-old survivor, Carly.
  • Forty-five people braved the South Carolina summer heat to enjoy the 5K Charity Run/Walk for Hope & Kids Fun Run in Taylors, and they raised $500 for sarcoma research.
