Thursday, July 17, 2008: It’s the sixth day of International Sarcoma Awareness Week, and 16 Team Sarcoma events are taking place. It seems to be the “education and awareness” day of the week, as many medical centers in Canada, Germany and the United States are holding educational events today. There will also be a special first-time event in Croatia tonight. The team is participating in a festival, sharing information and showing the “A Forgotten Cancer” video translated into Croatian.

The core team will bike 34 miles in Austria today. They will also be doing a host of things that require good weather! There will be a boat ride, a picnic, and a luminary in the park. Things could get interesting, as rain and temperatures below 60 degrees are expected!
