Team Sarcoma Update #5
l AnnouncementsWednesday, July 16, 2008: It’s the fifth day of International Sarcoma Awareness Week, and so far more than 1,400 people have participated in Team Sarcoma events worldwide. We are well on our way to reaching the goal of 5,000 participants, because most of our largest events will be held this weekend.
Eleven Team Sarcoma events are taking place today. Among them, Sarcoma Updates will be hosted in Arizona and Mexico. There will be a Walk for Sarcoma Awareness in Atlanta and an evening of support and entertainment in Philadelphia.
The core team will bike 46 miles in Austria today. Along the way, they will see the famous Melk Abbey and enjoy dinner and wine tasting at a wine maker’s restaurant. Comfortable temperatures continue, with the high forecasted to stay below 70F degrees.
