The “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” Race and Walk

The National Institute of Pediatrics (Instituto Nacional de Pediatria), the National Institute of Genomic Medicine (Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica), along with the We Will Never Give Up Foundation (Aquí Nadie se Rinde, A.C.) have joined forces to organize the second “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” Race and Walk on Sunday, July 19th. These events will take place along the circuit of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM). Runners will experience an exciting end to the race by crossing the finish line inside the Olympic Stadium!
This event is being sponsored by the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), the University’s School of Medicine, and the PUMAS Soccer Club. All logistics for the smooth functioning of this race will be provided by AsDeporte.
All participants are asked to meet in the parking lot Number 8 of the Olympic Stadium, where they can walk to the starting line for registration. The “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” racing event will begin at 7:00 am with runner registration. The 10K running part of the race will begin promptly at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K walk. At the end of both of these races will be the 100 meters running and walking races for sarcoma patients.

2a. Carrera “El Sarcoma No Conoce Fronteras” Carrera de 10k y Caminata de 5k

El Instituto Nacional de Pediatría, el Insittuto Nacional de Medicina Genómica y la Fundación Aquí Nadie Se Rinde han unido esfuerzos para organizar la 2a. Carrera “El Sarcoma No Conoce Fronteras”, con una Carrera de 10k y Caminata de 5k, el domingo 19 de julio. Esta carrera se llevará a cabo en los Circuitos de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Los corredores podrán disfrutar el final de la carrera cruzando la meta dentro del Estadio Olímpico.
Este evento es patrocinado por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), la Escuela de Medicina, y el Equipo de Futbol Puman. Toda la logística para el buen funcionamiento de la carrera estará a cargo de As Deporte.
Todos los participantes deberán ingresar por el Estacionamiento No. 8 del Estadio Olímpico de CU, donde llegarán caminando al Registro para la carrera. La 2a. Carrera “El Sarcoma No Conoce Fronteras” dará inicio a las 7:00 am con el registro de corredores. La Carrera de 10k iniciará a las 8:00 am en punto, seguida de la caminata de 5K. Al final de las dos carreras dará inicio la carrera y caminata de 100mt para pacientes con cáncer y niños.
