The “Team Sarcoma Surf Team’s Challenge” took place from 7.30 am until 8 pm on Sunday the 26th July. Everyone was invited to come down to Palm Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and watch the local boardriding teams challenge each other in a surf tag team event. There were 90 competitors and 842 spectators at the event, which raised more than $4,00o for sarcoma research through the Hannah’s Chance Foundation. There was a BBQ breakfast, a sand modeling contest, beach flag events, surfing lessons, raffles, a fashion parade and entertainment by Ryan Murphy.
