2007 Team Sarcoma / Mexico
Mexico l 2007 EventsDuring the second Sarcoma Awareness Day 2007 held in Mexico City, the Mexican Association for Help of Children with Cancer, AMANC, together with The Pediatric National Institute, INP, Genomic Medicine National Institute and The Liddy Shriver Initiative, gathered with conferences and fun activities for children with sarcoma.
The lectures were given by Dr. Rocio Cardenas Head of the Pediatric Oncology Department, INP, Dr. David Velazquez also from the this Hospital, and Dr. Javier Gomez Medical Director at AMANC. There were also three testimonials of patients Victor, Marco & Ana.
More than 300 persons atended this event, including 41 patients who have fought their brave battle against cancer. All 41 patients were accompanied by their relatives, making this event unforgettable.
The activities were sponsored by YMCA volunteers and Sabritas, and everyone enjoyed the time together.
